Happy Hearts is my community outreach project dedicated to spreading kindness through crocheted hearts. The idea grew from years of smiles I received while sharing crochet hearts with family, friends, neighbors, and customers at local farmers markets - proof that even a tiny heart can hold a special magic.
In January 2026, I created and shared over 130 handmade hearts with Wellspring Community, a nonprofit in Castle Rock, Colorado (https://wearewellspring.org/). That experience showed me how something small can make someone feel truly seen and loved.
This project is ongoing, and I hope others will join in by

crocheting small hearts or gifts to share with people in their own

communities, whether in retirement homes, classrooms, or

anywhere a little extra joy is needed.
